The
Jesus Is the Chosen Child.
The Firstborn. Chosen before there was a world to choose in. Born a child in Bethlehem, He grew "in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people."
Isaiah 9:6 · Luke 2:52, NLT
Before they could walk, or speak, or choose Jesus back, they were already chosen. Three words, one verse, and the whole reason these books exist.

"For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters." Romans 8:29, NLT
Jesus, the Firstborn, came first. Every child after Him is being shaped to look like Him. That is the destiny written into every book we make.

Chosen
Not earned. Not chosen for anything they have done yet. Chosen because Jesus is good, and because He wanted them. "You didn't choose me. I chose you."
Psalm 139 · Ephesians 1 · John 15:16, NLT
Child
Jesus said the kingdom belongs to such as these. And everyone who receives Him is given the right to become a child of God. We never outgrow the name.
Matthew 18:3 · Mark 10:15 · John 1:12 · 1 John 3:1
Six verses that tell a child who they are, from the first line of their story to the last.
"For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God."
Before a child does a single thing, they already have a family.
"Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, 'Abba, Father.'"
Not servants. Sons and daughters, invited all the way in.
"In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God's glory."
Everything that belongs to Jesus, He shares with His brothers and sisters.
"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."
Nothing in their life is random. Someone is writing it.
"...he chose them to become like his Son."
This is the destiny. Every book ends right here.
"No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us."
The courage of David and the faithfulness of Daniel are the shape of who they are becoming.
David's courage is a shadow of Jesus, the One who defeated the enemy for good. Every hero is a preview of Him.
Your child is not David. They are with David, a fellow chosen child stepping into the same calling.
Courage is not just a good trait. It is the image of Christ being formed in a child.
"You are a chosen child, chosen to be just like Jesus, the One who was chosen first."
One to three key verses per book, given room to breathe. A gift, not an assignment.
Before the world was made, God decided to build a family. He chose a Firstborn, His own Son, Jesus, and then set about filling the family with children who would one day look just like Him.
Every Bible story is a chapter in that family history. David learning the courage of Jesus, the Firstborn. Esther discovering the bravery that belongs to chosen people. Daniel walking in the faithfulness of Jesus, who would one day face a greater darkness than lions. The Chosen Child puts your child inside those stories, not as a spectator, but as a fellow chosen child. Because Romans 8:29 says they were predestined to be conformed to the image of Jesus, the Firstborn. That destiny deserves a book.
To begin discipleship early, in the most joyful, personal way possible.
A generation of children who grow up knowing three things:
Choose the story, check the preview pages first, and give them the book that says they were chosen first.
